Welcome to all my beloved brothers and sisters.
God is Love
“He who does not love does not know God, for God is love” 1 John 4:8
This passage of the word of God from the 1st letter of the apostle John chapter 4 verse 8, brings the revelation that “God is love”.
“God is love” Who does not know?
All people who believe in God know that “God is love”, although for years the church was preaching and shouting from the rooftops that “God is love”.
There were times when the people of this world at this saying, “God is love”, or read it in the posters that everywhere there were, wore happy.
It was a time when men’s behavior had not advanced as far to evil and to understand that God loved them, multitudes were converted because of this, they felt joy in her heart to know that Jesus loved them. But time passed, the wickedness of man grew and spiritual degradation is so big now, that because of the lifestyle they lead, because of so much pain and suffering for the things that happen is that this word does not produce anything in them, however wonder, if God is love, with all these bad things happen? But the most terrible, is that the church has forgotten to share the love of God, Christians are very busy in search of material blessings, are content to seek salvation and benefits according to the promises of God regarding the health, prosperity and forgot that the essence of all is love.
When we read God’s love in the Bible, we should rejoice and exalt before Him, because if we are in Christ is because he loved us. But look, the Bible reveals that God is love, and if we sought the meaning of this word, lead us to AGAPE, would give the meaning and all end there.
But God did not stay with its love, but from the beginning of all things, and even today, he is saying that it is love.
If we look for what are the forms and the ways that God has shown his love, we would not have time to list them because every word and attitude toward this expressed by humanity, is made on the basis of what He is in essence: LOVE.
How awful is when we understand that God has no love, but is love?
From the beginning of creation, God in everything He created has expressed his love. We read that in the beginning in everything God created, he said; “And God saw that it was good”.
All the things that had created had a benefit for man that He was going to form from the dust of the earth. In Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 and 27 says:
“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So, God created man in His own image; in the image of God, He created him; male and female He created them”
Here we see that God created man, he created in his image and likeness. If this is not a manifestation of God’s love for man, what will?
In his plant God put him on earth to govern everything. Then in Genesis chapter 2 verse 7 say:
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being”
And this should be very clear because many doctrines of error have crept into the church because of not understanding these two passages just mentioned in Genesis 1:26 and Genesis 2:7.
God created everything in Spirit first and then gave shape, is way says He created man and then it formed. From then until now, God has shown his love for humanity and the more for those who believe in Christ!
John says in his gospel in chapter 3 verse 16: “For God so loved the world”
But the apostle Paul that has full disclosure of all that Christ is and buys on the cross for the church, tells us in Ephesians 2:4-6:
“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus”
Here, Paul talks about the great love God has for us, something that today’s church does not even speak.
Let us look: What concept have God of His love, who after the death of Christ on the cross and the sacrifice to redeem mankind, and then have believed, have received the Holy Spirit, have been baptized but say they are sinners? If this were true, where is what Paul says, if we remain the same, if we have not obtained freedom from the yoke of slavery to sin and Satan, we were subjected?
Because of the confession made by saying that they are sinners and in trying to rid themselves, on their own, the word “God is love” not fit for them. But is not that God has not done on the cross with Christ that glorious liberty for all who believe; but because do not believe what God says in His word and are not diligent to check how God loves them. If they do not feel the manifestation of the love of God for their lives, how they talk to others about it?
Today, is not enough to say that God is love, those who have truly received the benefit of this love having not only the obligation to announce but to manifest.
Now we look, God is love. The Apostle Paul brings the revelation by the Holy Spirit; the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts;
“… because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us …” Romans 5:5
What God poured out His love into our hearts? Ephesians 5:1 reveals:
“Therefore, be imitators of God as dear children”
How could become imitators of God as beloved son, but we learn to love as he loves?
God has poured out his love through His Spirit in us so we can love the same way that He loves us, is why the Lord Jesus said: “… that you love one another as I have loved you” John 15:12
This is something that all believers know they have, but very few are interested in developing it.
When we have the knowledge of the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, we should explode with joy. How is it possible that we can love the way God loves us? Is it that we reach that spiritual stature and check that we love our neighbors, our brothers and all that he loves in the same way that he does? The Scripture affirms, the apostle Paul in Ephesians 1:15 to 17 gives the basis for the spirit of revelation in the knowledge of the Lord, that we have love for all the saints:
“Therefore, I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him …”
Because if we do not learn to love, how we know the Lord? How can we talk about what He is in essence? We will never understand why he acts the way he does, nor can we understand when we trial and tribulations, why it permits. Many do not understand and when these things happen, they move away from the congregation.
Now, in these times our concern should be to achieve the development of this spiritual life that God has given us in Christ and as we said earlier not only to announce others, but also, to manifest that Christ is through our behavior, the way we live and how we love.
God through all times expressed his love; so, did Christ being in this earth as far to surrender for love on the cross so terrible death to save all who believe in Him.
But Christ died, rose again, ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God and now are we to continue the manifestation of that love, loving each other and expressing this love in mutual support for each other and striving God’s grace until love our neighbor as ourselves.
“Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law” Romans 13:10
Paul says that all the commandments set forth in the law of God is summed up in this sentence, “Love does no wrong to a neighbor” and he always push us to do good, which produces and produce in those who practice, an experience so wonderful and glorious that ever want to stop.
So beloved brethren, we should not be fooled by anything and anyone that has to do with thoughts and human wisdom. All we have and we have received from God, come from above and is excellent.
If as a child of God, we are, we are left only with the information that the love of God is in us and we do not practice, we will never be able to be imitators of God as beloved son, will never reach to be like His son Jesus (Romans 8:29), and we would lose the power to check and see what really is the love of God. The apostle Paul tells us that if we let Christ rule in our lives, we can understand and know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge,
“… that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” Ephesians 3:17 to 19
and tells us, that this knowledge will lead us to be filled with all the fullness of God. Dear brothers; To be filled with all the fullness of God? What will all those who say they are sinners? How they will sustain with this word? Can they change?
We who believe, we rejoice, rejoice and so we bow in worship to God, by his great love wherewith he loved us gave us the gift that every Christian should be the most valuable, having in this case of mud the life of his son Jesus Christ.
“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us” 2 Corinthians 4:7
So dear brothers and beloved of the Lord, do not have us for nothing, but we go in search of the development of this wonderful life that God has given us and that is essentially the love of Him.
We are coming to the final days and we must prepare for the rapture. Grow in faith and knowledge of the Lord every day. God in Jesus Christ has exalted us made us sit together in heavenly places;
“… and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” Ephesians 2:6
And he has given us the privilege of being built up in the body of Christ. We must prepare for all the wonderful things God has prepared for our glory.
“But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, The things which God has prepared for those who love Him” 1 Corinthians 2:9
Before time runs out, let us strive on the grace that Jesus Christ is to achieve all that God in his great love has prepared for those who believe in His Son Jesus Christ. So, either the rapture or because the Lord will lead us to his presence, so that we can secure from the day of his manifestation, when we are in the tribunal of Christ, do not have to turn away ashamed,
“And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him” 1 John 2:28 & 29
So beloved, knowing us that the love of God was poured out in our hearts and God from the beginning expressed his love for man and sent his holy and beloved Son to die for all sinners, and that Christ Himself being on earth manifested through him, the love of God before the eyes of all who saw and heard, to the point that willingly went to the cross to die a terrible death for all men; now we, How not muster the same thought knowing that God has given us the privilege of continuing the manifestation of his love for man through the church, that is, of all that we believe and we are the body of Christ? We can never get to know if we do not practice.
Many claim that God’s love is incomprehensible and that is because they never developed this love in their lives, therefore cannot come to understand how a man after he was sold to Satan and turned away from God, He will never stop loving. Only those who learn to love with the love of God developed in their lives can come to understand the true meaning of that love never ceases to be. Once you learn to love with the love of the Lord that is in us, it is impossible not to do it because the love of God through Jesus Christ has come to the end.
“Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end” John 13:1
So much for not only do not stop but cannot back so the apostle Paul says that never ceases to be.
“Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away” 1 Corinthians 13:8
Guided by the Holy Spirit, we have written this literature with the blessed hope that everyone who reads it, break with all religious routine, lay hold on eternal life and allow the Holy Spirit to guide and govern his life, which will prepare you for receive the crown of righteousness.
We pray to the Lord, begging that this word is for you as it was and is for us in our spiritual growth.
I love and embrace you in the love of Jesus Christ. Amen
