Welcome to all my beloved brothers and sisters.
In the wedding of the Lamb, who will be the wife?
“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints” Revelation 19:7-8
We see in this passage from the Book of Revelation, that the Scripture says that the angel said: “Let us rejoice and be glad because the marriage of the Lamb has come” There are many Christians who do not know there will be marriage in heaven. You know how many are not prepared for it? The big question is this: Who is the wife of the Lamb? Some teach that all will be the wife, however, the Bible does not teach us that, because the angel said: “And his wife has prepared“
In verse 9 of this chapter of Revelation, the angel said:
“Blessed is those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!”
Meaning that not only will be the wife, but also the guests. We made a question, who is the wife of the Lamb?
TheBible saysthat Christ is thesecond Adamand as well God preparedwife for Adam, alsois preparing for hisson Jesus Christ. InAdam’s case, we see thatafter beingformedand beingon the stageof this world, Godsaid it was not good to bealone, and thengave him a wife. From where God pulled wife for Adam? We all knowthat from hisown body, that is,that Godfirst formedAdam’s bodyandpulledfrom himthe woman(his wife). Paulsaysthat the churchis the body ofChrist andwe are beingbuilt up in Him. TheBible typesare perfectand forthe Lord Jesus Christ, as inAdam, Godwill bringhiswife from the samebody. Thiswill be knownonlywhen we are inthetribunal of Christ.
The angel said: “And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints“
Righteous acts of the saints? What will they do when that day comes, those who say they are sinners, not saints, nor just? How to will produce righteous acts before God? As we see, the church sleeps on these things that the Scripture says that will happen. Today, we at the read, we can see that the day come, that the wife is ready and the guests to. But the angel said something, and that is that the wife was granted to be arrayed in clothing that produces righteousness, which the saints, while are in this world, with their attitudes and behavior, should produce. Where in the Bible is the believer’s clothing that produces just actions? If we want finder, we must know that the one with the revelation of all these things, since Jesus died on the cross, to the tribunal of Christ, is the apostle Paul, who said that God had been pleased to reveal to their children in Him. So, that garment has to be in some of Paul’s letters to the church. We by the grace of God founded in the Letter to the Colossians 3:12–13:
“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put-on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do”
With this passage the apostle Paul shows us what the clothing that we produce righteous acts, which will be the dress of the bride. Paul says: “Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved”
God’s Chosen? Santos and loved? As we see, which is told is the garment that is in the spiritual closet of each of us. Start with the tender mercy, that is a mercy that comes from the very heart and becomes manifest in attitude toward others. When an unjust action of another party deserves our judgment, and mercy driven by the strength of the love of God, leads us to be like Him, who, instead of pouring judgment on us when we were sinners, he suffered in Him person for love to us.
So, Paul is telling and showing this garment brings us to produce the righteousness that will dress the bride in the wedding day, which is the fruit of the Spirit of God that is in us.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law” Galatians 5:22-23
And it ends, the apostle Paul, speaking about the above all (when someone is wearing is the first thing you see) showing that this is love.
“And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness”
As we said before, there are many believers who do not know that there will be weddings in heaven and others, on the other hand, who have heard or read it, do not give it the value that this has. However, the most honorable title that a believer can receive is that of being the bride of Christ. The devil has managed to prevent the church from setting its eyes on this event that is going to take place and with this he will ensure that multitudes of believers do not receive the crown of justice. How can it be that an event so great and of such value for the believer, does not keep it in mind as a blessed hope?
Hope, in which, with patience, he endures all adversities that come against him, knowing that that day will come and that those who have overcome will be crowned with glory, honor, and manifested together with Christ to reign on this earth during the millennium.
“When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory” Colossians 3:4
We can see the church of today committed to the task of achieving material blessings; without understanding that everything that she achieves as a man in this world, on the day of her departure, will take nothing. They live so carelessly about spiritual things that they do not think that one day will come, either because the Lord calls them to their heavenly homeland or because the rapture occurs, they will have to leave this earth and go to meet the Lord and then to the Judgment Seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10). If we are all to give an account at the judgment seat of Christ.
How do we not prepare for that day? Of what use will the conquests of the material things of this world be of use if we will carry nothing in our departure? But Paul says that we will have to give an account. Account for what? Of earthly or spiritual things?
Says the apostle, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad”
We will not appear at the Judgment Seat of Christ, but to receive the prize. As the one who is presented is the spiritual man, it cannot be said that he has bad attitudes, however, this word “bad” means everything for which he was qualified by God, with respect to good and did not do it.
The apostle John in his 1st letter Chapter 2 verses 28 and 29 says that on that day many will walk away ashamed to see that others took advantage of everything that God gave them through Jesus Christ to achieve the maximum reward; while they neglected it and did not succeed because they did not give it the value that this has.
We see how many doctrines have been introduced into the church today that do not speak of spiritual riches, but that lead them to go in search of earthly riches. As well, there are doctrines that teach those who have been born again, by faith in Jesus Christ, that they need to be freed from spirits that have nothing to do with God. This makes Christians, instead of growing in the knowledge of the Lord to achieve the development of this life that God has given us, stop hoping that one day they can be free from all these things; when God says in his word that we were delivered from the power of darkness and transferred to the kingdom of his Beloved Son, Colossians 1:13.
That is why the apostle Paul taught, as did the Lord Jesus, “Beware lest anyone cheat you …” Colossians 2:8
The believer should not believe any doctrine that is not shown to him through the word of God and that does not have the purpose of leading him to develop this wonderful life, which in Christ God has given him, until he reaches the stature of the fullness of Christ.
“… till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; …”
Now we think: Why is God looking for a wife for Jesus Christ? In the case of Adam God said: I will help you meet. Without the help of the woman, Adam could not have made men multiply. But in the case of the Lord Jesus the purpose is different, the apostle Paul has the revelation of this and communicates to us in 1st. Corinthians 6:2 and 3.
There Paul says that the saints are to judge the world; the apostle John in the book of Revelation 20:4 says: “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for [a]a thousand years”
Paul says that the saints are to judge the world and not only this, but we are to judge the angels. John says that he saw thrones and that those who were empowered to judge sat on them. The help meet for Christ is his Wife and the ability to judge was received through the just actions that while on earth, in the development of spiritual life, produced them. How can those who enjoy it be able to judge the world? and pay more attention to everything that happens in him than in the spiritual life that God has given us to lead us to be like Christ?
God says that he chose us before the foundation of the world to be conformed to the image of his son (Romans 8:29); those who reach this spiritual stature are the ones who will receive the crown of righteousness. The crown, which is a symbol of power and justice, means that they will be on their heads giving testimony that by faith they conquered evil. So, the crown of justice is a symbol of power against evil, in this way those who obtain it will be able to judge the world and the angels. The purpose for which we write this literature is to awaken in each one who reads it, the desire to seek through knowledge what God’s will is, for which he has brought and chosen us, and leads him to serve Him with purpose from the heart.
“… looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, …”
The marriage of the lamb will take place. What is the place you will occupy? That of the wife? Or the one of the guests? When a wedding party is over, the guests each go home while the husband takes the wife to live with him, in this case, forever.
Also, we must think about the Millennial reign; because Christ would reign and He said that to those who overcome He will give the nations to rule with a rod of iron.
And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—
“’He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’-as I also have received from My Father; …” Revelation 2:26-27
For this we must be attentive and ask God to enlighten us through his Holy Spirit, to understand why we must achieve the image of Christ and why we must achieve full knowledge.
“… and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him” Colossians 3:10
In the millennial kingdom, God will show what was his thought regarding the life and conduct that the men that he created were going to have. But man rebelled against God and lost the image of Christ, and became a sinner and was destitute of the glory of God.
But with the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, God by faith, to those who believe, he gives death and being born again; and this birth is a spiritual life, which is the same life that is in Lord Jesus, which, as it develops in us, leads us to be similar to Him, not only in conduct but also in knowledge.
And it will be necessary that those who are going to reign with the Lord, know everything about the life that God through Jesus Christ has given to those who received him. Without this spiritual stature, which is what leads to obtaining the crown of justice, the nations will not be able to rule as the Lord said those who, by keeping their works, will reach the end. God enlighten the mind and heart of everyone who reads, and the Holy Spirit convince them that this event, which is the most glorious and wonderful that any man’s mind can imagine exists, is going to come.
So that they diligently seek to develop the love that God poured out in their hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5) and prompted by him lead him to be watching every day, serving God with joy, loving his brothers, so that when the trumpets sound and you go to the judgment seat of Christ for the prize, don’t have to walk away in shame.
It is my longing, my desire and my prayer to God that his Spirit will convince him of this glorious truth that is in his Word. Amen.
I love you and embrace you in the love of Jesus Christ
